Bodiless Governors

I found feelings so strange—the idea of a non-tangible thing that’s with me every second. 
The different ways they present themselves like governors of my brain, constantly bringing up memories I’m trying to suppress.
It is a non-tangible thing I can’t feel for too long because it will dent me, nor can I let it go too fast or I’ll lose balance and drown.
